1. Installation from the GeoDin website
Current object types can be installed directly in GeoDin from our server:
- To do this, switch to the System tab at the top left of the GeoDin user interface.
- Then open the System configuration and select the Object types node.
- Start the "Install" method from this node.
- Under the third option [From the GeODin website] via the button with the three dots, select the object types to be installed by ticking the box in front of it.
- Then click on the <Install> button.
- If you do not want to install any more object types, exit the dialogue by clicking the <Close> button.
2. Installation from a ZIP archive
If your GeoDin is not directly connected to the Internet, you can also download updated object types manually from http://update.geodin.com/objecttypes/ (Attention: The ObjectTypesAll.zip archive available for download at http://update.geodin.com/objecttypes/8_save/ cannot be used for this manual procedure!) Then follow the same steps as described in section 1 of this article, but select the desired ZIP archive via the second option at step 4.
3. Installation from a folder
Alternatively, other GeoDin installations or the SYSLIB system folder passed on by other GeoDin users can also be used to install object types. To do this, proceed as described in section 1 of this article, but then select the corresponding folder (e.g. SYSLIB) as the source using the first option at step 4.
